Sudden Valley resident and Whatcom County Democrats member Bob Almond recounts his experience as foreman of the federal jury in the Rodney King trials in the book "Moral Uncertainty: Inside The Rodney King Trails."

Twenty-five years after the Los Angeles riots of 1992, Whatcom County Democrats member Robert Almond recounts his experience as jury foreman during the second (civil) Rodney King trial in Los Angeles in which four LAPD officers were accused of excessive force in the beating of a black motorist. Almond, along with Simi-Valley trial jury foreman Dorothy Bailey and former Associated Press reporter Kathleen Neumeyer, outline what went on in those two jury rooms, where two sets of conscientious jurors grappled with the same issues that still divide public opinion. The book will be available on Amazon as well as at Village Books. More information here
