Museum of Northwest Art's (MoNA) first ever Xicano Poetry Reading

  • MoNA 121 1st Street La Conner, WA, 98257 United States (map)

As Democrats we continue to want to learn more of the history of Latinos in the USA and in the Pacific Northwest. That Latinos are rising in demographics both locally and nationally means that Latinos are increasingly becoming more important as voters. We Democrats need them in our party! In order for Latinos to feel that the Democrat party values Latinos, Democrats must get to know Latinos and more importantly get to know Xicanos who make up the largest voting block within Latinos.

Please attend and enrich yourselves with knowledge about our Latino/Xicano history that will be presented by Xicano poets whose work is the bedrock foundation of Xicanismo culture in the USA.
