Humanities Washington, the American Association of University Women—Bellingham Branch (AAUW) and the League of Women Voters® of Bellingham/Whatcom County (LWVBWC) will host the community discussion, Women as Political Change Agents: From the Late 1800s to Present from 10 to Noon Saturday, April 9, at the Bellingham Public Library, 210 Central Avenue, Bellingham. The AAUW and LWVBWC welcome King County Councilwoman Jeanne Kohl-Welles, a member of the Humanities Washington Speakers Bureau, for this thought-provoking conversation on the development and influence of women’s leadership in politics. For questions or more information, contact Rebecca Johnson at (360) 734-2366 or Catherine Chambers at (360) 738-4713.
